BURNING DESIRE TO FEED THE HUNGRY
It’s the giving time of year, and we’re certain we’ll see many of you at “The Burning Desire to Feed the Hungry” this Friday and Saturday, December 16th & 17th at Safeway in Prescott Valley. We set up camp at noon and will be working hard to fill a McWhite’s North American trailer with food for the hungry. We encourage those businesses that find it in their hearts and in their budget to “Buy a Pallet” for the Yavapai Food Bank. Safeway has put together the items that the Food Bank needs the most on a pallet and it is on sale to businesses and individuals who would like to purchase one or more. You can give this gift that will feed many needy people, for $1,000.00. If you can buy a pallet….please do! The Food Bank is in great need now and after the holiday at the Burning Desire. Yours truly, Lew Rees and many others will be fasting for 24 hours. We want to sacrifice, will you? I know you will come through for those who are less fortunate.

Business is the engine that drives the train in your community! Every dollar created can be traced back to a businessperson taking a risk! There are no jobs, no government, no schools, no money for civic organizations, no churches, and no community … without BUSINESS. BUSINESS IS THE ENGINE! In 2005 let’s fuel the engine and never forget where our bread is buttered … and where our support and commitment lies – “BUSINESS FIRST”. All of us depend totally on a strong economic environment.
